The Dominican Republic is an island nation just 600 miles south east of Florida, with a population of over 8.5 million people.  On his trip to discover the new world Chistopher Columbus proclaimed that the Dominican Republic was,  "the fairest land under heaven". The DR is a Spanish speaking country best known for its professional baseball players.  However, Dominicans produce much more than just top quality athletes.  Coconuts, sugar cane, coffee, rice and bananas are top exports.  Some of the most beautiful beaches in the world can also be found in the DR, and tourism is a very important part of the local economy. 
Statistics show that 95 % of the population is Roman Catholic.  Our ministry varies; but our goal is simple.  Win the lost to Jesus Christ.
Our vision is to:

- Establish Bible believing Baptist churches
- Train and Disciple Nationals
- Literature and tract distribution
- Host and train short-term mission groups
- Give Honor and glory to our Savior

 We currently are working in the mountain town of Jarabacoa.  In April 2005, we started Jarabacoa Baptist Temple and we now run on average about 70 people. However due to this constantly growing number we are rapidly running out of Sunday School space. Please pray that God will provide a new building so we are more apt to reach the people of Jarabacoa
